We do not publish a warrant canary for Singapore. That is because the law there does not allow the kind of statement a canary makes, not because this page is being used as a warning.
Why there is no canary
Due to local regulations regarding telecommunications and national security, we are legally prohibited from publishing secret government data requests in this jurisdiction. Doing so, even indirectly via a warrant canary, may risk severe legal or criminal penalties for our local staff. Therefore, no dynamic canary is published for this jurisdiction.
Relevant governing legislation: CPC Section 20 & FICA Directives: Grants law enforcement and the Ministry of Home Affairs broad powers to compel data handovers and issue binding non-disclosure orders for national security.
