Warrant Canary
United States of America
As long as this page is current, we have not received the kinds of secret United States of America government orders listed below. If we stop updating it, the silence is the signal.
Current statement
Issued
As of August 25, 2026, Adieuu LLC states the following:
- We have not received any National Security Letters.
- We have not received any order under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (including Section 702), or any similar foreign-intelligence authority.
- We have not received any gag order, sealing order, or other process that would prohibit us from disclosing a government request for data, assistance, or silence.
- We have not been required to modify our software, infrastructure, or cryptography to facilitate surveillance or to link a person's Account to their Alias activity.
- We have not been asked or compelled to make a false statement, including on this page.
- We have not received any legal process that would prevent us from updating this page on schedule.
Identity and Activity
Your Account (who you are) is cryptographically separated from your Alias (what you say and do). Even in a breach or under a subpoena, our databases and logs cannot readily connect a person's real information to their messages, friends, or other activity. We do not have access to the keys that decrypt your messages, and we cannot decrypt them for you (or anyone else).
If you visit your Account settings and go to the Data Export tab, you can see and export all metadata we have for your account (and what may be turned over in a subpoena). Note that there is no Alias information included: without your Alias password, we have no idea which Aliases are yours and thus would be unable to turn those over in connection to a request for your account.
We must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, but continuously endeavor to protect your privacy and security to the best of our ability.
How to read this
We will reaffirm this statement at least once per calendar month by updating the issue date. If more than 45 days have passed since that date, or if this page disappears or its wording is quietly stripped of meaning, treat the canary as expired. That does not prove any particular event occurred — it means you should assume something material may have changed in this jurisdiction.
This page lives in our public source repository, so you can independently check when the statement last changed.

This canary covers secret legal process under United States law directed at Adieuu LLC and the services we operate, including the Adieuu app and this website. It does not speak to orders from other governments. Other jurisdictions are listed in the warrant canary directory, including places where a canary is not legally available.
A warrant canary is not a legal shield, and its status under U.S. law is unsettled. We always seek to comply with federal and state law, and may cease publishing a canary if we are no longer free to do so. For the rest of how we try to earn that trust, see our Transparency page.
Relevant legislation
Below we've added links to relevant legislation, for your convenience. These are not exhaustive, and you should always consult with a lawyer if you have questions about the law in your jurisdiction.
